Optimist Park, Washington

Playground Ground Cover: Wood Chips

This park features a huge pavilion, an enclosed skate park, a new playground installed in late 2025, a basketball court, and restrooms.





The restroom building is conveniently located right off the parking lot, close to the playground and pavilion. 







There are 2 baby swings and 2 sling swings.



The play structure has a climbing wall, floating steps, a spinner, a slide, and a swinging hammock.










The tennis courts were converted into a skate park, and it is very well used. It's open from dawn to dusk.

This is a small neighborhood park that has picnic tables, a basketball court, a pavilion, a tennis court, and a playground. 



The playground has a slide, and several pieces of equipment for climbing.

The Alley, Washington

The Alley is an entertainment center in Washington, MO. It offers VR, Laser Tag, an arcade, a restaurant, and a bar.  The gaming arena offers 8 different escape rooms, laser tag, and zombie battles. They have a stage and different bands playing on the weekends, and they offer event rentals and birthday parties, too. Check their calendar for details.

There's no signage for this small pocket park. I think there used to be one, but now it's just two poles with no sign. There's a small shelter, but no picnic table and no restrooms either. 


The play structure is older, and has a rock wall, some slides, a steering wheel, a bridge, 
a maze board, and drums.
