Pirate’s Crusade Mini Golf, South County

Location: 11801 Tesson Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128

Website: https://concordbowl.com/arizonaactionpark/mini-golf/

This family fun center has fun for the whole family. We did mini golf, but they also have 32 lanes of bowling, batting cages, sand volleyball, and a small arcade. It costs $10 per person to play 18 holes. This place was busy when we were here with tons of people inside bowling and a birthday party going on. They have trivia nights and offer kid camps as well.

You go inside to this counter to pay and get your balls, clubs, and scorecard.

Batting cages

Sand volleyball

Entrance to course

Follow the blue arrows on the ground to the first hole

Each hole has a wanted poster next to it with a blue number that signifies the hole number. The kids really liked the wild west theme here.

The course is challenging which my kids loved, but it might be too difficult for preschoolers.

Around the 10th hole you walk up a hill into a cave. There is a hole in the cave behind the waterfall! The kids were freaking out! You have to hit the ball past a fake spider too. There are cave drawings on the wall and you can look out past the waterfall.

This hole was cool with the snakes

You can see there was some graffiti on the wall that has been blocked out. I guess mini golf places are not too profitable because they always seem run down.

This hole you have to shoot into a canoe.

Nice train photo op but my kids were too short. They need a stool back there.

Looking out from behind the waterfall.

We had a great time and definitely recommend checking this place out!

Elvira Moll Park, Bella Villa

Location: 751 Ave. H, Bella Villa, MO 63125

Website: http://www.cityofbellavilla-mo.org/

Playground Ground Cover: Wood Chips

This playground is great! This is a small little municipality with a population of 729. It's somewhat near Lemay and Wilbur Park and the southern part of the city. The playground is next to the city hall and police station, so I think you'll be safe here. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The city has a total area of 0.13 square miles and was ranked the second highest top traffic ticket town in Missouri in 2005, so don't speed!

They have 2 rocking toys, a motorcycle and a parrot that toddlers would love.

There are 2 baby swings and 2 sling swings

This purple play structure is really fun, and I love that they erected tents over the benches for shade!

Big open green space would be fun for games

They have a bouncy thing where you stand on tires and bounce, and a large play structure. It has a rock wall, a tunnel, a tic tac toe board, bars, poles, and slides.

They have a smaller play structure that just has a double slide.

There are tons of parking spots here so you'll never run out of parking.

Kiener Plaza, Downtown St. Louis City

Location: Bounded by Market St, 17th, Chestnut St, and Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63101

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

They completely renovated this space and it opened in May 2017. The new space is more kid-friendly with a small playground and a splashpad. The splashpad fountains dance and light up at night. It's smaller than Citygarden, 2 blocks up, but still fun.

The playground is completely fenced in with a latching gate, and pretty colored poured rubber.

The activities include a saucer swing, a wide metal slide, a wooden log style climber with rope netting, and some wooden ride on animals.

There were tons of business people here walking around and eating lunch. There were metered parking spots all around the block but no restrooms except for a port a potty.

Great photo ops here of the Runner Statue, the Arch and the Old Courthouse!

They have nice new drinking fountains and water bottle refillers too
