St. Cin Park, Hazelwood

Location: Alma Dr at Fox Tree Dr, Hazelwood MO 63142

Website: http://www.hazelwoodmo.org/services/parks

Playground Ground Cover: Wood Chips

Amenities include: Athletic fields, accessible comfort station, horseshoes, multi-use court, accessible picnic pavilion, picnic site, playground, 1/3 mile walking/jogging path, volleyball

This 10 acre park is very close to Aubuchon Park.  It has a nice playground and the restrooms and covered pavilion are right there, so I consider this a great playground. There are 2 play structures, and the small one has a bridge, some slides, a pretend window, and a small rock wall.

Basketball Court

The larger play structure has a bridge, slides, tons of bars and poles, monkey bars, and a bouncing bench. There is a big rock wall nearby but there are no swings.

Alligator's Creek Aquatic Center, O'Fallon MO

Location: 403 Civic Park Drive, O'Fallon, MO 63366

Website: http://www.ofallon.mo.us/parks&rec/alligators-creek-aquatic-center

This is a pubic pool that was renovated in 2018. They have a one-meter spring diving board in the deep pool, a lazy river with a vortex that's connected to the children's shallow pool, a small splash pad, and kids who are at least 48 inches tall can enjoy three different water slides.

The splash pad is small and enclosed by a fence.

Renovations expanded the aquatic center to twice its original size. Among the new features are a comfortable modern bathhouse, a new concession stand, a longer lazy river with a zero-depth beach entrance, an exciting new splash pad for kids of all abilities, a floating bridge and a new pool with a fun waterway that connects a larger pool with a newly-installed interactive water playground.

Some places call this a lily pad walk, they call it a water bridge. It's a fun challenge for kids.

This slide is short and fast!

The vortex is always a hit with kids. I guess they like going around in circles lol.

The lazy river is long and not very deep. My 9 year old could stand with his head above water but they do require an inner tube.

They have 2 basketball hoops near the water bridge.

The website says they have 2 playgrounds, but one was just cleared. They expanded the pool and added a splash pad. There is a restroom building nearby and there are also port a potties.

There is one play structure and it has several slides, a cool rock wall that you can walk over, pretend areas, ramps, bridges, a steering wheel, and tons of bars and poles.

You can cross this narrow "mountain" which my daughter did one time and said it was REALLY hot.
