Owl Hollow Park features a nature play theme playground with poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing. This GameTime PlayWorx custom design includes a treehouse look with the look and feel of actual tree bark with GFRC, timber slat roofs, vine climber, honeycomb climber, leaf scramble, and tree stump steppers. There are benches placed along the edge of the play space with shade. This playground is a great example of a nature theme play area that blends with the surroundings.

There is a baby swing, and adaptive swing, and 2 sling swings.

Optimist Park, Washington

This park features a huge pavilion, an enclosed skate park, an older playground, a basketball court, and restrooms.

The restroom building is right off the parking lot and close to the playground and pavilion. 

The playground has one play structure that has two slides and lots of bars and poles. 

The tennis courts were converted into a skate park and it is very well used. It's open from dawn to dusk.

0.5 acres, previously known as Lower Hoppe Park, this area was renamed and dedicated in honor of the late Winston Brown, long time Park Board Chairman, educator, coach, and City Council member. The site includes; two, lighted softball fields, a children's playground, concession/restroom building, picnic pavilion, and two, lighted full-court basketball courts, complete with spectator seating.

This is a small playground by the ball fields and restroom. There is one play structure with 2 slides, a tic tac toe board, and bars and poles.

Hoppe Park, Edwardsville

This is a small playground with one play structure. There are a couple slides, a rock wall, a tic tac toe board, and some bars and poles.

The Watershed Nature Center is worth a visit. The Watershed Nature Center is home to over 40 acres of prairie, forest, and wetland habitats. The center features paved walking trails, a raised marsh walk, and a welcome center.  The trails are open 365 days a year from dawn to dusk.

Playground #2 is small with one play structure. It has slides, a chain climber, a rock climber, a steering wheel, and some bars and poles.
