Playground Ground Cover: Wood Chips & poured rubber
There are 2 playgrounds here. The first is visible from New Florissant Rd and the second is behind the library. From their website:
"Bangert’s long-time signature feature is a Sherman tank that can be seen from Florissant Rd. Bangert is the oldest park in Florissant covering 13 acres. Its amenities include a competition-style outdoor swimming pool with a concession stand, 2 pavilions with electricity and playgrounds available for rent, pickleball courts, a sand volleyball court, and newly renovated horseshoe courts. Bangert is a great park for gatherings, family outings, and exercise and a perfect spot for those warm summer days with trees and the pool to keep you cool."
My kids loved the tank! There was sand all around it, which they also enjoyed. The playground is small, it has a xylophone, 2 baby swings, 2 sling swings, an ADA swing, several slides, and a tunnel.
You can see the sand volleyball court behind the swings. There is an ADA swing, and 2 sling swings.

The following 2 playgrounds are behind the library. One is newer and one is older. There is also a pavilion here with a grill.
This older playground has 2 slides and monkey bars.
This newer playground has slides, a 2 story tower, a hammock, a bubble window, activity boards, steering wheels, and a tic-tac-toe board.
