This isn't ordinary mini golf, it's upscale tech-infused mini golf created by the founders of Topgolf, Flight Club, and AceBounce. The game is 9 holes and it takes about a half hour, depending on how many people are in the group and how busy Puttshack is. They recommend players be at least 7 years old as it can be a little challenging. The ball is tied electronically to each player so there's no need to keep score manually, it's all automatic. Kids under 13 are $9, and everyone over 13 is $14 but you can get 50% off the second game if you book online (during the week). Puttshack is kid friendly until 8 pm (7 pm tee time) and it's 21+ after that. The only other indoor mini golf places in St. Louis are the Escape Room in Soulard and Pirate Pete's in Pevely. They have a decent food and drink menu and the bar has the most beautiful light fixture!
The City Foundry was originally built in 1929 as a Foundry and it's one of the largest historic redevelopments in the city. Food halls are increasing in popularity across the country and this is the first one in St. Louis! I'm looking forward to seeing what else moves into this space for families to enjoy.
