This is a cute playground next to a lake. There are 2 play structures, one for kids under 5 and one for kids over 5. The small one has several slides, a tic tac toe board, steering wheel, and maze board.

Playground Ground Cover: Wood chips

This is one of the few playgrounds in the state that has a Liberty Swing. It's a great feature for adults in wheelchairs so they can swing with their kids. It does require a key though.

This playground is rather small, there is one play structure with some slides and a rock wall, and another play structure with some slides and bars and poles. There are 2 baby swings and 2 sling swings, a free standing climber, and another free standing slide. I didn't see any restrooms but there may be some over by the ball fields.

Carondelet Park Rec Plex Pool, St. Louis City

Most YMCAs do not let anyone use their facilities unless you are a member. This location in Carondelet Park is an exception. Nonmembers can use the outdoor pool but ONLY DURING THE WEEK. Weekends are reserved for members and their guests. The outdoor pool has a kid's area with a playground, 3 swim lanes, a diving area, a lazy river, a vortex, a splash pad, and a 2.5-story waterslide.  This is a great option for people living in the city to go swimming without having to drive out to the suburbs.

The indoor pool area has a 2 story waterslide, lazy river, zero entry kids splash area, steam room, sauna, lap lanes, hot tub, whirlpool, and family shower/locker rooms. However, be aware that only members can use the indoor pool. 

Ninja Challenge Course at Carondelet YMCA, St. Louis City

Playground Ground Cover: Poured Rubber

This challenge course was installed in late 2018 and is free and open to everyone. Located in Carondelet park, the 2,040-square-foot area is equipped with ninja steps, a net traverse wall, floating boards, sway steps and climbing wall. The entire course is built over a rubberized safety surface. Located immediately adjacent to the Carondelet Park Rec Complex YMCA, the course will be open to all and accessible during park hours. YMCA staff will provide free instruction and coaching on the equipment weekdays after school hours.

What a great addition to the parks inventory! There is only one other public ninja course in St. Louis, and it's located at Howdershell Park.
