Tower Tee, Affton

Location: 6727 Heege Rd., Affton, MO 63123

Website: https://www.towertee.com/

Tower Tee is back!  They closed in 2018 after almost 55 years in business. It was bought by McBride and was all set to become a housing development. A lot of people were upset, it just didn't seem right that this is what should become of the well-loved St. Louis gem. Steve Walkenbach and Mike Shamia purchased it, rebuilt it, and reopened it at the end of 2021. They have a variety of amenities including:

  • Par 3 Golf Course
  • Golf Driving Range
  • Golf Instruction
  • Top Tracer Bays
  • Short Game Precision Area
  • Short Game Practice Area
  • 15,000 Square Foot Putting Green
  • USGA Greens
  • FootGolf
  • Putting Course/Mini Golf
  • Batting Cages
  • Bocce Ball
  • Playground
The mini-golf course is 9 holes. Here's the description from their website: "A fantastic pastime for adults and families alike, this new take on “mini golf” will combine real golf putting with the miniature golf scale and length in the form of a nine-hole course with two hole locations incorporated into each artificial green. Players who want an eighteen hole experience will have two distinct loops of play. Whether you are looking to hone your putting skills or have fun with friends and family our putting course will be a fun challenge!" The cost is $5 per person.

They also have a playground! It has poured rubber flooring, 2 sling swings, a modified teeter-totter, and a play structure best suited for kids over 5. It has a bridge, several slides, speakers, a bubble window, and lots of bars and poles. It's almost fully enclosed by a fence but there is a gap at the entrance.

They have a beautiful beer garden with a TV and fireplace. I can't wait to come back in the spring to play mini-golf with my kids and have some food on the patio!

Pictures from the old Tower Tee just because it was amazing!
